Heim theory is a proposed unified field theory developed by German physicist Burkhard Heim from the 1950s onward, extending general relativity into a six-dimensional (later twelve-dimensional) spacetime in order to derive particle masses, coupling constants, and gravitational-electromagnetic interaction from geometric structure alone. Within exopolitics discourse, Heim theory is cited as a candidate framework for the classified unified field theories allegedly developed in black-project programs, and the predicted Heim-drive propulsion effect was the subject of a 2005 DARPA / AIAA attention spike.

Hal Puthoff has referenced Heim's dual time-dimension structure in discussions of polarizable-vacuum engineering.
