The Afim Spiantsy (self-name: Afim) are, according to Elena Danaan and the Alien Races Book, an alleged non-human species of the Lyra constellation, bearing blue skin covered with spots — darker on males and lighter on females — and of smaller stature than humans. Danaan places their homeworld on planet Afiola in the Aldoram system (Gamma Lyrae), with stretched eyes angled upwards. They do not breathe oxygen — the largest component of their planet's atmosphere is hydrogen, the lightest of the elements and the one a rocky planet retains least readily.

Name origin

Their full name Afim Spiantsy commemorates a military victory: they defeated the Spiantsy race, a force 12 times more numerous with 35 more ships and resources — making the name itself a warning to other species.

Relations with Earth

The Afim Spiantsy reportedly visit Earth to study human deviation, providing the data to the Galactic Federation of Worlds (of which they are a member) in exchange for authorization to visit. When near humans they can reportedly remain invisible; their presence allegedly causes a sense of anxiety in nearby people. They are primarily observed in locations associated with deviance, such as entertainment facilities and mental hospitals. Their ships are small and spherical with a silver metallic appearance, a transversal band of windows and lights, capable of warp speed and space bending. They can purportedly reach Earth in just twenty minutes from their home system.

Society and expansion

Afim society is structured as a warrior patriarchy — despite their small stature relative to humans, their culture evolved around martial achievement, with the name "Afim Spiantsy" itself functioning as a declaration of military superiority. Although their space travel and technology developed with assistance from the Selosi and Lyrans, the Afim Spiantsy remain at a comparatively early cultural stage — an example cited by Danaan of premature intercultural contact, where technological uplift by more advanced civilizations arrives before full cultural maturation. Despite this, the Afim have colonized ten planets through non-violent means — expanding their reach across the Lyra zone without conquest.

Their restraint toward Earth specifically reflects strategic pragmatism: the Afim are aware they are outnumbered by the combined forces of the Galactic Federation of Worlds (of which they are a member) and the Reptilian Orion Alliance — making aggressive action on Terra untenable regardless of intent.

Position in the Lyra zone

The Afim Spiantsy occupy the Aldoram system (Gamma Lyrae) within the broader Lyra constellation, a region heavily populated by multiple humanoid and non-humanoid peoples. In the geographic catalogue compiled in A Gift from the Stars, the Aldoram system is listed as entry (N) in the Lyra star systems, immediately following the Vega (Alpha Lyrae) Taal humanoid colony and the indigenous Vegan Reptoids, and adjacent to the Man system (Kepler-62), the cradle of the Man humanoid civilisation. The proximity of the Afim's home system to the Man system — the primary target of the Alpha Draconian Empire during the Lyran Wars — places the Afim within a galactic neighbourhood that experienced some of the most devastating conflict in Lyran history, though Danaan records no direct Draco reptilians assault on the Aldoram system itself.

Danaan's catalogue additionally classifies the Afim as a "local Reptoid race" on planet Afiola, distinguishing them from the humanoid populations of neighbouring systems — a classification consistent with their blue-spotted skin, hydrogen-dominant atmospheric biology, and warrior-patriarchy social structure, all of which diverge markedly from the Lyran humanoid species who share the same constellation zone.

The Russian Alien Races Book, an alleged KGB document compiled between 1946 and 2013, also lists the Afim Spiantsy as a species with blue spotty skin from the Lyra constellation, capable of traveling from their home system to Earth in approximately 20 minutes. The two sources agree on the Lyran origin, distinctive blue spotted skin, and the remarkably short 20-minute transit time. The AGFTS (sourced from Thor Han Eredyon) specifies that their small spherical ships "know warp speed and space bending," which accounts for the extreme speed. The KGB book's "blue spotty skin" matches the AGFTS description (sourced from Thor Han Eredyon) of "blue skin covered with blue spots, darker for males and lighter for females."
