Jon Stewart (born c. 1964) is an American UFO researcher, former professional wrestler, and Libertarian political candidate from Illinois, known for a comprehensive forensic investigation of the Victor alien interview culminating in the documentary Alien Interview: Case Closed (2024). Stewart first encountered the 1997 footage in the late 1990s but began his active investigation approximately five years before completing his documentary. He presents his research through LeakYou.com and hosts the Investigating Alien Interrogation podcast.
Background
Stewart ran as a Libertarian candidate for Illinois Governor and previously sought a seat in the United States House of Representatives, receiving coverage from Fox News, CNN, and The New York Times. He describes himself as having had no prior connections to the UFO research community when he began his active forensic investigation.
Victor alien interview investigation
Stewart investigated the 1997 alien interview footage, conducted over approximately five years using frame-by-frame video analysis, error level analysis, and outreach to US intelligence community sources. He identified the filming location as the S-2 Alpha facility at Papoose Lake rather than S-4, investigated evidence of five military personnel in the viewing gallery, and located the widow of a physician whose face she identified in magnified frames. In June 2023 he submitted his completed findings to the office of Congressman Tim Burchett. He produced a documentary Alien Interview: Case Closed (2024).
Stewart credits giving out his personal email address at the conclusion of every podcast appearance with producing contact from intelligence community and military sources. He has contacted PhD candidates, Hewlett-Packard engineers, and space laboratory scientists to identify anomalous equipment visible in footage.
