The Ramay — also known historically as the Naacals ("star brothers") — are an alleged non-human humanoid species from the binary subgiant star Capella in the Auriga constellation, whose home world is called Rama'. Short and stocky with square jaws and elongated skulls, they have facial features resembling South American humans, slender dark eyes, and slightly pointed ears. Members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds, the Ramay are credited with playing a foundational role in the rise of Mayan civilization.

History on Earth

During a period when the Selosii held dominance over Atlantis, the Ramay — then called Naacals — refused to submit to the Selosi hierarchy and established the Yu Empire underground in South and Central America. The Encyclopedia Galactica adds that the Ramay originally arrived on Earth as part of the Anunnaki expedition, and during the Atlantean period claimed allegiance to the "Yuh Empire" — the faction of Enlil — before being abandoned when Enlil triggered the Younger Dryas cataclysm; after this, the Ramay retreated underground in South and Central America. They taught the Maya astronomy and timekeeping, then departed when the Mayan civilization reached its peak. Following their departure, the Maya elevated the Ramay to the status of gods and began performing blood sacrifices in their name.

Old structures in the region, dated roughly 2,280 years ago, are said to be aligned perpendicularly to the rising of Capella. The Ramay subsequently joined the Galactic Federation of Worlds and continue occasional visits to Earth within its observation and protection programs. The EG account further notes that after the abandonment by Enlil, the Ramay came under the protection of the Galactic Federation of Worlds rather than seeking Anu's protection, since Earth remained under the guardianship of Enlil and his son Ninnurta.

Ships

Ramay vessels are metallic, silvery, and bright, and are capable of interdimensional travel and space trans-curvature.

Cataloguing in the Encyclopedia Galactica

The Ramay are one of the species catalogued in the Encyclopedia Galactica Volume I, which covers civilizations from the Andromeda to Canis Minor constellations — including all the Auriga constellation species of which the Ramay are a part. In a 2024 interview, Danaan described the EG project as interfacing with the Galactic Federation of Worlds' database of Stage-3 civilizations, estimating the total number would reach "about a thousand, maybe more." The Ramay's inclusion among the Stage-3 civilizations — defined as cultures that have achieved interstellar capacity and established first contact with another galactic civilization under their own initiative — reflects their status as a spacefaring nation with an active fleet and ongoing involvement in Earth observation programs. The Russian Alien Races Book, an alleged KGB document compiled between 1946 and 2013, also lists the Ramay as a peaceful species from Capella in the Auriga constellation who created Mayan civilization — agreeing with the AGFTS account on the Capella/Auriga origin, the peaceful characterization, and the foundational role in Mayan civilization. (Danaan has acknowledged using the Russian Alien Races Book as a starting template for A Gift from the Stars; agreement between these two compilations may reflect shared source material rather than independent corroboration.) Stephen Chua claimed to have seeded the KGB document with information obtained at Area 51, raising the possibility that both compilations ultimately derive from the same US intelligence pool rather than representing independent confirmation; the KGB book's briefer entry offers the same core claims without the extended AGFTS narrative on the Anunnaki expedition, the underground Yu Empire, and the teaching of astronomy and timekeeping to the Maya.
