Past life

A past life (also prior incarnation or previous life) is a claimed existence lived by a soul or consciousness in a body preceding its current physical embodiment, retained as accessible memory through spontaneous recall, hypnotic regression, quantum hypnosis, or technological extraction. The concept is central to reincarnation cosmologies across both terrestrial spiritual traditions and exopolitical contact accounts, where past lives may span not only different human lifetimes on Earth but incarnations on other planets and in other densities. In secret space program testimony, past-life memory has reportedly been weaponized as an intelligence tool: a U.S. military program is alleged to use a past-life extraction device to identify reincarnated crew members of ancient space arks, whose DNA the arks recognize across lifetimes.

Cosmological frameworks

Law of One / Ra material

The Law of One, transmitted through Carla L. Rueckert between 1981 and 1984, presents reincarnation as an ordered mechanism of consciousness evolution across eight densities. According to Ra, third-density beings — humans on Earth — undertake a series of incarnations until the soul has sufficiently polarised in either service to others or service to self to graduate to fourth density. Each incarnation is described as chosen by the higher self before birth, with appropriate circumstances selected to present the lessons most needed for polarity development. The veil of forgetting — the suppression of inter-life memory upon physical birth — is, according to Ra, an intentional feature of third-density existence: it prevents the soul from acting on memory of previous lesson-frameworks and forces genuine free-will choice in each lifetime. Ra distinguishes between the soul-matrix (the totality of a higher self's incarnation history across all lifetimes) and the individual incarnational personality. Memories of past lives are stored in the soul-matrix and accessible to the higher self, but ordinarily remain unavailable to the surface personality in third density.

Taygetan cosmology

Swaruu of Erra, speaking through the Cosmic Agency channel, presents a more radical version of past-life theory in which reincarnation is not merely a lesson-mechanism but primarily a technology of experience accumulation, potentially exploited by controlling forces as a trap. Swaruu argues that the alleged soul trap — an artificial mechanism that intercepts the soul between deaths and redirects it to reincarnation without complete review or free choice — is maintained by archontic forces to keep human consciousness cycling within Earth's third-density field: "People want to go back, they reincarnate into lives full of hurt willingly because they do not know any other option." According to Swaruu, the soul's past-life record is held in a higher-dimensional "frequency signature" that persists across embodiments. Taygetan understanding holds that Earth incarnation is chosen specifically because it is one of the most intense and varied experience-environments in the galaxy: "The Earth is meant to be exactly as it is. Don't like it — that's the point of having incarnated there."

Tibetan Buddhist bardo and karma

The Tibetan Buddhist framework describes the period between death and rebirth as the bardo — an intermediate state in which the consciousness of the deceased experiences visions reflecting their karmic accumulation before being drawn by karma into a new body. The quality of the new incarnation is determined by the dominant mental impressions at the moment of death and the overall weight of karma accumulated across prior lives. Past-life memory is not ordinarily accessible to the waking consciousness but may be recalled through deep meditation, near-death experience, or the instructions of a teacher. Certain lamas are recognised as tulkus — deliberate incarnations of previously identified masters — and may retain specific memories of their predecessor's lives, verifiable by tests administered to child candidates. This represents the closest analogue in terrestrial spiritual tradition to the systematic past-life identification programs described in secret space program testimony.

Recall methods

Past-life memories are reported through several channels: spontaneous recall (particularly in young children or individuals with unusually thin veil separation), hypnotic regression as practiced by Dolores Cannon and other therapists, QHHT sessions in which the higher self selects which prior incarnations to present, and technologically assisted extraction using devices such as the past-life memory booth allegedly described by JP.

Hypnotic regression and QHHT

Dolores Cannon (1931–2014) spent over 45 years conducting QHHT sessions in which subjects entered the deepest somnambulistic trance state, allowing the higher self to select and present past-life memories relevant to the current-life situation. Cannon documented subjects spontaneously describing lives on other planets, in non-human bodies, as energy beings before physical incarnation, and as members of civilisations prior to Earth's recorded history — including Atlantis and Lemuria. Cannon's student Suzanne Spooner continued this work after Cannon's 2014 death, co-teaching the method globally and documenting clients who recalled off-planet lives in sessions used as evidence for starseed identity. Sarah Breskman Cosme, a QHHT practitioner trained in the Cannon method, has published detailed past-life regression results covering Atlantis, Lemuria, and the role of off-world genetic intervention; her clients have reportedly recalled lives during Atlantean vaccine experiments, including memories of children born with hybrid animal DNA as the result of a failed biological programme — a past-life scenario that parallels current accounts of non-human intelligent being genetic modification of humans.

Life-between-lives regression

Hypnotherapist Michael Newton, author of Journey of Souls (1994) and Destiny of Souls (2000), developed a method called Life Between Lives (LBL) regression — distinct from past-life regression — in which subjects in hypnotic trance are guided not to a previous life but to the inter-life state between incarnations. Newton's thousands of cases produced consistent accounts of a realm in which souls are met by guides, review the completed incarnation, interact with their soul group, and choose the next body and circumstances for lessons to be developed. JP describes a complementary blood-analysis pathway by which the same past-life and ancestral data is purportedly read from biological samples in a process he compared to quantum computing. The same technology is alleged to be used by some extraterrestrial races for inter-life and cross-dimensional communication.

Cross-species incarnation

Multiple contact sources report souls incarnating across species boundaries. Swaruu of Erra states that humans carry DNA from at least twelve alien species because "they've been members of all those 12 or more species" in prior incarnations. Elena Danaan describes her soul-matrix as originating in the Pleiades, with her physical body on Erra held in stasis while she occupies a Terran body. Corey Goode has reportedly described contact with a Blue Avian being called Ra-Tear-Eir who appeared to his higher self as a past-life memory, suggesting that Goode's soul had previously inhabited an avian body. Similarly, Arkheim Ra described a past-life memory of himself as a phoenix-like being at Atlantis, recalled during Montauk-related timeline operations: "I was sent there as a time soldier and I remember seeing me as a phoenix at Atlantis." Jean-Charles Moyen, a French secret space program witness who has undergone QHHT sessions, describes past-life memories as Pleiadian and as a member of other star civilisations before his current Terran incarnation, memories he says influenced the making of his documentary Starseed Revelations 3.

Starseed past-life cosmology

A starseed is alleged to be a human whose soul originates from another star system or planet, living temporarily on Earth as part of a mission — a definition that presupposes at least one prior incarnation in a non-Terran body. Starseed identity claims frequently feature past-life memories of Pleiadian, Sirian, Arcturian, Lyran, or Andromedan embodiment, accessed through QHHT, spontaneous flashback, or during meditation. Within starseed discourse, the purpose of incarnating on Earth is not to continue a lesson-sequence native to Earth but to bring specific frequencies, skills, or memories from the home civilisation into the Terran gene pool and consciousness field, contributing to planetary upgrade at a critical juncture. Swaruu of Erra describes her own situation as an extreme case of cross-species incarnation: she is reportedly one of a series of beings who have each borne the name "Swaruu" through successive incarnations within a closed loop on Erra, retaining memories of the prior Swaruu's life alongside their own accumulating experience-matrix.

Operational use in covert programs

In secret space program contexts, past-life recall has been described as an intelligence tool. The U.S. military program reported by JP allegedly uses past-life memory extraction technology to identify the reincarnated crew members of ancient space arks, whose DNA the arks recognize across lifetimes. JP describes being placed in a "deep sleep box" that monitored past-life activity during the trance state, allowing technicians to cross-reference an individual's past-life identity against the species registry of a specific ark's crew manifest. The arks themselves are described as DNA-responsive technologies that activate only for beings whose genetic signature matches that of original crew members — a signature reportedly preserved across reincarnations.

Mainstream scientific assessment

Mainstream psychology and psychiatry reject literal past-life recall as evidence of prior incarnation. A 2006 survey of doctoral-level mental health professionals rated past-life regression among "certainly discredited" therapeutic techniques, on par with rebirthing and angelic healing. Researchers including memory psychologist Elizabeth Loftus and Nicholas Spanos have demonstrated that past-life "memories" recovered under hypnosis are typically generated through cryptomnesia, experimenter suggestion, and pre-existing belief in reincarnation, rather than reflecting genuine prior-life recall.
