Megan Rose is an American contactee and author who, from approximately 2020 to 2022, contributed regularly to Michael Salla's Exopolitics Today network, claiming contact with a Galactic Federation of Worlds being designated Val Nek — described as a GFW high commander of Irish ancestry who had incarnated previously on Earth — whose communications she relayed in structured interview form alongside Elena Danaan and other GFW-aligned sources.
Background
Rose grew up in Northern Virginia and trained as a registered nurse in Florida, practicing as a critical care nurse in South Florida for approximately two to three years before leaving clinical work.
Abduction experiences
Rose reports two childhood alien abduction experiences. At age five, she was taken by Zeta Reticulans — described as AI-like beings — alongside a tall Maitre being who directed a tissue-sampling procedure. Val Nek, accompanied by Thor Han Eredyon and other GFW personnel, intervened and extracted her before the procedure was completed.
At age nine, Rose was taken by a Reptilian being using a Zeta Reticulan craft, who intended to transport her through a portal to Mars for use in a super soldier program and breeding program. Val Nek again intervened, killing the Reptilian by striking a vulnerable access point beneath its neck. Val Nek suppressed her memories of both events so that she could live a normal childhood, restoring them when she was ready in 2019.
GFW implant and contact protocol
In 2019, Rose was taken to a Galactic Federation of Worlds mothership science laboratory, where a communications and protection implant was installed by a GFW implant specialist named Mira — also known to Elena Danaan. The implant, described as interdimensional and frequency-based rather than a physical chip, allows two-way communication that Rose describes as hearing Val Nek's voice as clearly as an ordinary conversation, and which she states is not hackable by opposing factions.
Rose reportedly cross-verified Val Nek's identity with Elena Danaan: she relayed physical descriptions and details Val Nek gave her to Danaan, including his remark that he was "a little bit better looking than Thor Han," and Danaan agreed with the identification. Danaan's own contact memoir, A Gift from the Stars (2020), independently describes Val Nek as she encountered him as co-pilot on Thor Han's ship — noting his physical distinctiveness from other crew members and his origin in the Epsilon Eridani system — confirming his identity as a separate individual known to both contactees.

Rose transmitted regular briefings from Val Nek throughout 2020–2021 covering Galactic Federation of Worlds military operations across the Solar System, including the liberation of the Moon from Nebu brainwave-control satellites, Val Nek's personal participation in the Jupiter Accords negotiations, and the training of U.S. Navy and Space Force personnel in GFW-supplied technology. Her transmissions were published alongside Elena Danaan's Thor Han Eredyon communications and military insider JP's physical encounter reports. Salla cited Rose's Val Nek transmissions as one of three independent sources confirming major events, noting that "in a previous update from Val Nek, received by me and Megan Rose, it was described how new technologies were being provided to U.S. Space Command" to prevent hostile extraterrestrial infiltration. The Ganymede convoy of October 2021 was similarly corroborated across Rose's Val Nek reports, JP's military intelligence, and Elena Danaan's Thor Han communications — with Salla noting that "Val Nek through Megan Rose" had independently described the Jupiter meetings that JP had described.
Book and publications
In 2021 Rose published Welcome to the Future: An Alien Abduction, a Galactic War, and the Birth of a New Era, a first-person account of her abduction experiences, her contact with Val Nek, and the GFW intelligence briefings she relayed. The book presented the Jupiter Agreements negotiations and Moon liberation events as contemporaneous with its writing.
During her 2019 visit to the GFW science laboratory where her implant was placed, Rose also observed hybrid children on the ship — described as residing in vertical pods, with younger ones in a play area — under the care of the implant specialist Mira. Rose stated: "There were hybrid children on that ship in vertical pods. And there were also little ones too running around. And they had a certain like a little play area for them to play on as well."
Departure from the Salla/Danaan network
Rose subsequently separated from the Salla/Danaan network; her later content included criticisms of the GFW framework. Val Nek announced through Rose in late 2022 that his mission was complete and communications would cease, which Salla linked to the completion of the GFW's primary operational phase on and around Earth.
