Metoni

The Metoni are an alleged non-human humanoid species of the Noor Lyran group inhabiting planet Meton, which orbits Proxima Centauri (4.22 light years from Earth); their civilisation spans all seven planets of that star system. Proxima Centauri is a smaller star than Sol with distinct radiation characteristics; Meton itself has controlled weather and conditions broadly similar to Terra. Tall and non-belligerent, Metoni have a lifespan of up to nearly 2,000 Terran years and live in a free society governed by ethics rather than laws, with arts as an important cultural pillar.

Culture and technology

Metoni communicate telepathically but have retained spoken language for interspecies conversation within the Galactic Federation of Worlds. Their urbanism uses translucent organic materials, and they apply the science of sound extensively across many domains.

Spacecraft

Their patrol ships are metallic and discoidal with a low dome and three rows of windows, approximately 60 feet across; the bright radiance around the vessel is due to the ignition of a distortion field that enables instantaneous travel between two points by creating a distortion in the space-continuum. Their larger cylindrical motherships with rounded ends can transport up to 24 ships.

Relation to Earth

Not eager for travel, Metoni were drawn to Earth primarily by scientific curiosity, and many enrolled at the GFW's science station in orbit of Earth. Within the GFW fleet around Earth, Metoni ships maintain their own shipboard biosphere suited to Metoni physiology.

Elizabeth Klarer contact

The most extensively documented human contact with the Metoni is that of Elizabeth Klarer, a South African woman and British intelligence associate who claimed repeated space-to-space communications beginning in the 1950s with a Metoni named Akon and was eventually transported to planet Meton itself — a visit she only publicly detailed in the 1980s in her book Beyond the Light Barrier. JJ Hurtak and Desiree Hurtak, researchers who met Klarer in the early 1980s, independently noted the alignment of the name "Meton" with a reference in Hurtak's own 1973 work The Keys of Enoch — a corroboration they considered significant. Klarer reported that Meton beings warned of solar changes and described the Metoni as "beings that looked like humans" who had an interest in Earth because of those solar conditions.

Meton contingents in the Earth Alliance

Metoni ground forces participated in the Earth Alliance's joint operations with GFW planetary contingents inside Earth during 2020–21. Thor Han Eredyon explained to Elena Danaan that the Earth Alliance's surface-adaptable species included Taali, Meton, and Silosi — all humanoid races whose physiology is compatible with Earth's atmospheric and gravitational conditions — in contrast to the Ahel, whose biology is better suited to space combat and who therefore led the off-world military operations.

Meton as a destination for rescued children

Per Elena Danaan of the GFW's operations around Earth in 2020–21, Meton served as a destination world for hybrid children rescued from underground SSP trafficking facilities. Danaan describes witnessing, aboard a GFW ship, a convoy of such children being loaded onto a shuttle bound for Alpha Centauri: "Thor Han explained to me that these children had been selected to be evacuated to a planet called Meton, in the Centaurian systems, where they would be adopted by new families." The Metoni community's participation in this humanitarian operation reflects their role as a Noor-origin Lyran diaspora culture aligned with GFW humanitarian values — consistent with their characterization as non-belligerent and scientifically oriented.
