Structures on Mars
Structures on Mars are alleged features in NASA and other planetary imagery of Mars interpreted by researchers and SSP experiencers as evidence of non-natural formation, prior civilization, or ongoing biological activity — including geometric structures, faces, pyramids, giant vegetation, and what appear to be glass tubes or channels.
Primary anomalous features
The Face and Cydonia region
The Face on Mars at Cydonia was first brought to broad public attention when Richard Hoagland displayed the original NASA image on CNN. Andy Basiago, who claims direct human presence on Mars through Project Pegasus, described the face as representative of a broader Martian artistic tradition: "there are thousands of faces on Mars. That's their primary art form."
Giant vegetation
Tom Van Flandern and JP Skipper independently identified large plant-like formations in Mars orbital imagery — structures Dr. Michael Salla described as "giant forests and plants." Basiago, who claims firsthand Mars surface experience, indicated these plants represented a food chain supporting animal life including predators: "when you have like predators... 1,500 Americans at any one time on Mars establishing a presence and surviving these predators needed to have a constant food supply."
Obelisks and pyramids
Dr. Steven Greer described receiving direct confirmation from a JPL/NASA source of "obelisks and pyramids on Mars" estimated to be millions of years old. The source explicitly stated these would not be acknowledged publicly because "it would collapse orthodox and fundamentalist religious beliefs all over the world."
Nuclear weapons signatures
Tom DeLonge, citing briefings from aerospace insiders, noted that scientists from JPL identified radioactive signatures on Mars consistent only with artificial nuclear detonations — not natural geological processes: "a bunch of scientists from JPL found that there was some atomic weapons that went off on Mars, because the radioactive signature can only happen if you explode a nuclear weapon that's artificially made, not like something that happens naturally."
Avi Loeb noted the detection of xenon-129 on Mars — an isotope produced on Earth exclusively at nuclear test sites — as an intriguing, unexplained datum consistent with a hypothetical ancient Martian nuclear catastrophe. He further proposed that Mars is currently "a museum" — lacking an atmosphere, its surface preserves every impactor since its oceans dried up — and that searches for technological relics there have not been prioritised, despite the possibility that intelligent life could have arisen and been extinguished on Mars half a billion years before it emerged on Earth.
Secret space program experiencer accounts
Multiple secret space program experiencers — Randy Cramer, Corey Goode, and Michael Relfe — independently describe encountering anomalous Martian structures, giant vegetation, and indigenous life during their tours of duty. Michael Salla's 2015 book Insiders Reveal Secret Space Programs and Extraterrestrial Alliances notes that their accounts show "no evidence of cross contamination," making the convergence of independently produced testimony the strongest class of evidence for the anomalies' authenticity. Cramer specifically described a partially breathable Martian atmosphere with "small trees, shrubs, grasses, lizards, and ground-burrowing birds" comparable to a high desert environment.
