The Seeders
The Seeders — also referred to as the Pa-Taal or the Founders — are a group of 24 alleged highly advanced extraterrestrial civilizations drawn from multiple galaxies who have seeded and progressively modified human genetic lineages on Earth and across the galaxy for approximately 65 million years. They operate as a sub-group within the Intergalactic Confederation, a super-federation spanning multiple galaxies and standing hierarchically above bodies such as the Galactic Federation of Worlds. The 2022 book The Seeders: Return of the Gods by Elena Danaan details encounters with Seeder representatives and their history on Earth.
Name and terminology
The name "the Seeders" refers to their function: the group identifies itself as spreading life throughout the universe in service of a creative principle called "Source." The alternative designation Pa-Taal (rendered in the source transcript as "Patel") is given as an older or alternate name for the same group. They also call themselves "the Founders," All three terms — Seeders, Pa-Taal, Founders — are interchangeable labels for the same 24-civilization grouping.
Structure and hierarchy
The Seeders are a discrete council within the Intergalactic Confederation, which itself draws from civilizations across several galaxies. The Confederation operates at a scale far larger than purely galactic bodies: "Imagine in our galaxy alone how many cultures are in the Galactic Federation of Worlds. But at intergalactic level, it's huge." Within this broader Confederation, the 24 Seeder civilizations constitute a specific working group defined by their genetic-seeding mission.
The Seeders recognize nine "supra-consciousnesses" — entities residing "in the void, at the root, at the singularity of all universes, all dimensions" — as a higher spiritual guidance above even the Intergalactic Confederation itself. This "Council of Nine" concept connects to the ancient Egyptian Ennead — the nine gods depicted in the Pyramid Texts of Khufu — with the Anunnaki, who were aware of this supra-cosmic hierarchy, transmitted this awareness to early Egyptian culture, where it was eventually mythologized.
Genetic seeding methodology
The Seeders' approach to developing life was gradual and observational, contrasting with the Anunnaki's later interventions. They would make incremental genetic modifications to early primates, then withdraw and allow natural evolution to proceed, returning periodically to assess progress and make further adjustments — "they would let the law of evolution unfold, and when it was all satisfactory, they would come back and put a little bit more, so it would be smooth and follow the laws of evolution." The Seeders have been involved in humanity's development "since about 65 million years," making their engagement the most ancient layer of alleged extraterrestrial involvement in the human genome.
When the Anunnaki arrived and examined the humans they intended to use as slave labor, their geneticist Enki discovered the accumulated intergalactic DNA already present in the human genome — evidence of multiple prior Seeder interventions — and changed his position: "There are so many different intergalactic DNAs in these ones. They are not going to be slaves." The Anunnaki were not Seeders themselves — they are from the Milky Way galaxy, operating on a different dimensional plane — and their hybridization program came after and on top of the Seeders' longer foundational work.
The Altean civilization and Atlantis
One Seeder civilization, the Alteans (also rendered as "Alans" or "Alts"), is the most Earth-interactive of all 24 Seeder races and as the founders of Atlantis. The Alteans established a colony on what Danaan calls the "Atla" continent in the Atlantic, built a civilization incorporating crystal technology and energy generators, and welcomed several human colonies including the Hyperboreans.
The fall of Atlantis came through a coalition of Anunnaki (the faction of Enlil) and reptilians who infiltrated Atlantean society, hybridized with the ruling class, and collapsed it from within: "They worked together because they had the same mind — to collapse a society from the inside, to infiltrate it, to hybridize with the ruler class, and then once you're in, you collapse it by internal wars." The Alteans, recognizing the threat, dispersed their knowledge throughout the ancient world before the civilization's final collapse, dated to approximately 9,700 BCE.
Return in 2021
The Seeders' return to the solar system is dated to late October 2021, contingent on the prior expulsion of regressive extraterrestrial forces — including the Nebu (Orion-Grey alliance) and the Alpha Draconian Empire — by a military coalition of the Galactic Federation of Worlds, the Andromeda Council, and Earth's own developing space forces.
The Seeders are approximately 20,000 years in advance of humanity technologically and in consciousness, and have deliberately refrained from direct intervention in Earth's conflicts, believing each civilization must achieve its own liberation. Their 2021 return is characterized as a "graduation" ceremony: they came to witness humanity's breakthrough, and to bring advanced knowledge and technology that could now be safely transferred without risk of falling into hostile hands.
Member civilizations: Etherians and the O's
Among the 24 Seeder civilizations, two with documented characteristics are the Etherians and the O's. The Etherians — humanoid beings from the Maaru star system in the Andromeda galaxy — contributed a scientific elite group to the Seeder program: "An Etherian scientific elite group participated in the Seeders program and has been working with them ever since, participating in the great genetic experiment on Terra." The O's — a collective consciousness inhabiting space in the Andromeda galaxy rather than any specific planet — are a second documented member: "As a collective consciousness, the O's are members of the Intergalactic Confederation and participate in scientific research as part of the Seeders, a group of scientists from 24 different intergalactic cultures."
Connection to indigenous prophecies
The Seeders' return connects to a worldwide pattern of indigenous prophetic traditions — including Hopi, Maya, and Buddhist Kalachakra texts — that describe creator-gods returning after a final conflict between light and dark forces. In contrast, organized religions co-opted these traditions: the "Second Coming" of Abrahamic faiths is identified as a distortion created by Enlil's political-religious legacy to redirect popular expectation of a benevolent return toward a narrative of submission and control.
The book The Seeders: Return of the Gods
The Seeders: Return of the Gods, Danaan's third book, was released on the autumn equinox of September 2022. It covers personal encounters with representatives of the Intergalactic Confederation from late October 2021 through September 2022, alongside retrieved memories of Earth's deep history and accounts of the Anunnaki's return — particularly Enki's reappearance in September 2021. Michael Salla, who read an advance copy, described it as "astounding, amazing information."
The book and its themes were also discussed in a 2023 podcast interview on VERITAS with Mel Hostalrich, in which the title The Seeders: Return of the Gods was mentioned alongside her other work on ET contact and secret space programs.
Distinction from related bodies
The Seeders are frequently conflated with other galactic-governance bodies that appear in exopolitics literature; the following distinctions are drawn explicitly in Danaan's and Salla's transmissions:
-
Main article: Super Federation — Corey Goode's Super Federation (40–60 "genetic farmer" races, 4th–5th density) managed the 22 parallel genetic programs on human populations and wound down c. 2017–2018. The Seeders (24 civilizations, operating at intergalactic scale across multiple galaxies) reportedly established the human lineages approximately 65 million years ago; the Super Federation's "farmer races" worked on those already-seeded lineages. The numeric proximity of "22 programs" and "24 civilizations" has led to frequent conflation, but Michael Salla treats them as layered phenomena rather than the same body.
-
Main article: Anunnaki — The Anunnaki are NOT Seeders. They are a Milky Way (Nataru) imperial culture from Sirius B on a different dimensional plane. When they arrived on Earth c. 450,000 years ago, Enki reportedly discovered the pre-existing Seeder-derived intergalactic DNA in early humans and reversed course from using them as slaves.
-
Main article: Andromedan Council — Alex Collier's Andromedan Council is a 139-star-system advisory body centred in the Andromeda galaxy and Andromeda constellation. It is operationally allied with the Galactic Federation of Worlds and the Seeders but is distinct from both.
