Noor

The Noor (or Noori) are allegedly one of four main humanoid races from the Man system (Kepler-62), the cradle of Lyran civilization, originating from the fifth planet Tar. Very tall with a strong musculature, they have blue, green, or clear grey eyes, blond to reddish hair, and a fair, very sensitive skin — a sensitivity shared with the Ahel of the fourth planet and attributed to the radiation of their dwarf star, Mana.

History and colonies

The Lyran Wars — the Draco reptilians military campaigns that destroyed the Man system — produced a galactic diaspora in which the Noor, along with the other Lyran-origin peoples, were scattered to different systems across the galaxy. From the earliest period the Noor were also explorers, seeding several other worlds and visiting Earth about a million years ago. They are now members of the Galactic Federation of Worlds. Their main colonies include: Alkorat in the Pleiades (Taygeta); Terra; Elhaziel (Lyra); Eldaru (Procyon); Dahl (Beta Centauri); and Meton (Proxima Centauri). A branch of Noor colonists who adapted to conditions near Vega evolved to have red hair; these also visited Earth, where they interbred and were remembered as giant red-haired legendary peoples.

GFW fleet presence

Within the Galactic Federation of Worlds fleet operating in Earth's solar system, Noor personnel serve alongside Ahel, Metoni, Egaroth, and Andromedan crew members, each maintaining their own environmental shipboard biosphere. The Noor colony at Meton (Proxima Centauri) is the source of the Metoni — the branch of the Noor diaspora that settled that system and evolved a distinct civilization documented in the Elizabeth Klarer contact case.

Noor in the Pleiades — Alkori and D'Akoori

The Noor refugees who settled in the Pleiades around the star Taygeta (Ashaara system) evolved into distinct sub-populations over time. The Alkori — Noor on the fifth planet, Alkhorat ("the serene place") — are described in AGFTS as having undergone a genetic alteration due to successive habitat changes: their internal organs fail to grow as fast as their body envelopes, causing the heart to fail first in many individuals, a biological cost of the Noor's tendency to migrate. Despite this, the Alkori are deeply involved in Galactic Federation of Worlds operations on Terra and are noted for being among the Terran mythologies' "red-haired giants." A further evolved Noor group on the 10th planet of the Ashaara system, Dakoorat, are the D'Akoori — beings who have elevated into the ninth density of existence, transforming their physical bodies into translucent ethereal forms, with lifespans that reach extraordinary lengths. This is attributed to the crystalline structure of their world interacting molecularly with the plasmic field of the Pleiades cluster.

Dahlnor — Beta Centauri colony

A Noor colony from the Lyran Wars established itself in the Beta Centauri system — a triple stellar system sheltering seventeen planets. This colony flourished but chose to remain entirely out of galactic affairs, not joining the Galactic Federation of Worlds and living in harmony with the system's other species. They named themselves and their world after the legendary commander who brought them there: their ark's captain Dahel. The Beta Centauri system is described as severely guarded and considered an unspoiled haven of peace.
