Agartha

Agartha (also Agarthi, Agharta, Agharti) is the name used in esoteric tradition and exopolitics contact accounts for the network of subterranean civilizations, cities, and tunnel systems said to exist beneath the surface of Earth. In Elena Danaan's taxonomy, "Aghartan" is the collective term for all species inhabiting Earth's underworld, encompassing multiple civilizations of varying origin, density, and political alignment. Danaan characterises the present-day network as a re-established system of antediluvian colonies numbering roughly 1.5 million inhabitants spread through a vast system of caverns beneath the surface. The underground infrastructure allegedly includes an ancient network of caverns, cities, and electromagnetic high-speed transit tunnels purportedly connecting communities beneath the continents at speeds reportedly reaching 1,200 km per hour using antigravity technology.

Theosophical and esoteric tradition

In Helena Blavatsky's Theosophical system, an advanced subterranean realm was implied through references to ancient wisdom centers. Alexandre Saint-Yves d'Alveydre coined "Agarttha" in Mission of India (1910) to describe a hidden spiritual centre governing the world through "synarchic" principles. Ferdinand Ossendowski's Beasts, Men and Gods (1922) reported Mongolian traditions of an underground kingdom "Agharti" with millions of inhabitants and a ruler communicating with the heavens. These traditions were synthesized into the "Hollow Earth" model by 19th–20th century researchers including Cyrus Teed, William Reed, and Marshall Gardner.

Constituent civilizations

The Aghartan network is described not as a single civilization but as a community of distinct peoples, some reportedly of extraterrestrial colonial origin, others said to be descended from surface humans who retreated underground during ancient cataclysms.

The most prominent Aghartan group in contact-era accounts is the Telosii — a Selosi colonial offshoot from Alpha Centauri B 4 that constitutes the "western branch of the Agarthan network." Their primary installations lie beneath the Gobi Desert, Tibet, and Mount Shasta, California, where their underground city Telos is located, connected by subterranean tube to installations in Brazil. The Telosii are remembered in surface mythology as Lemurians or Atlanteans and, in certain Celtic traditions, as "the Shining Ones" or Sidhe; Danaan credits them with originating crop circles through a sound-frequency technique meant to encode clues to a lost science, and with encoding hidden astronomical knowledge into "Telosian Quartz" crystals found on the surface.

The Anshar are a second major Aghartan civilization, described by Corey Goode as fourth-density humans allegedly from Earth's own future, purportedly sent back approximately 17 million years to maintain the optimal temporal timeline. Their technology is reportedly entirely consciousness-based, with no conventional power plants or propulsion systems in their spacecraft — the pilot serves simultaneously as power source and navigation system.

Corey Goode during his Secret Space Program activities was introduced to an "Inner Earth Council" comprising multiple distinct Aghartan species — groups including one with eyes slightly larger than humans', militaristic "Omega Group" factions, and groups identifiable by distinctive white hair. Goode stated that records available on the classified "smart glass pad" used information about these ancient breakaway civilizations, though the term "Lemurian" may have been used for groups that moved underground during multiple distinct cataclysm periods across different geological eras.

In an account documented by Dr. Michael Salla in Rise of the Red Dragon, Goode describes four major cataclysms across the roughly 20 million years since the original human bloodlines arose on Earth, each of which prompted a "priest caste" to lead an exodus underground to preserve its genetic line: "Each time one of these events occurred, the 'elite' or priest caste kept their genetic line pure through isolating themselves beneath the ground." As these underground settlements multiplied over geological time, they are said to have joined into a single contiguous Agarthan network possessing advanced scientific knowledge and spacecraft technologies — an account Salla treats as consistent with the reports Ferdinand Ossendowski and Nicholas Roerich gathered from Tibetan and Mongolian lamas in the 1920s concerning flying craft associated with Shambhala (called Agartha in those accounts).

U.S. Army insider JP described what he characterized as a classified mission in October 2023 that reportedly reached a large cavern city via a 16-floor elevator descent followed by a six-minute extreme-speed descent in a non-human-built oval elevator, entering a city with vegetation, a river, Sumerian-style lettering on buildings, Nordic-looking white-haired inhabitants, and large white-furred dogs. The inner-Earth inhabitants allegedly provided metallic books about their history and samples of what JP described as longevity medicine reportedly being shared with the surface government. JP estimated the settlement's population at more than eighty identically dressed inhabitants who appeared to act "as if they were all connected."

Infrastructure

The ancient Aghartan subterranean infrastructure is described by Danaan as "extremely ancient" and vastly extended using extraterrestrial technology following 20th-century government agreements with off-world groups. The Draco reptilians and allied groups allegedly expanded the tunnel network to connect ancient Aghartan systems with surface military bases using what are described as rock-vitrifying boring machines — a rapid technique that skips conventional tunnel supports at the cost of seismic vulnerability.

Reported extent and technology

An independent survey by Craig Campobasso in The Extraterrestrial Species Almanac describes the Agarthan network as comprising 120 subterranean cities connected beneath the Earth, with entrances at the North and South Poles reportedly protected by a magnetic force field and camouflaged by cloud cover. According to the same source the Agarthans operate a silver discus-shaped fleet and travel within their subterranean realm using electromagnetic levitating vehicles. Their technology is said to include amino-based organic computers functioning as fully conscious entities that "cannot be corrupted," along with free-energy systems and crystal suns that illuminate the underground cities. Campobasso classifies the Agarthans as members of the Galacterian Alignment.

Political alignment and conflicts

The Aghartan network encompasses factions with sharply divergent political allegiances. A benevolent coalition — including the Telosii's pro-human faction, the Anshar, and other groups — cooperates with the Galactic Federation of Worlds and operates the Silver Fleet of discoidal and spherical craft, identified by Danaan as the source of crop circles used to encode geometric communications to surface humanity.

Conversely, a separatist faction of the Telosii allied with the Draco reptilians and the American government through the Washington–Telos Alliance, opening the underground network to progressive Reptilian occupation. Danaan attributes the alliance to agreements with the Grey collective known as the Solipsi Rai and with the Draco reptilians, and describes the resulting complex as interlocking the ancient Aghartan structures with DUMBs and surface military installations, with one high-speed transit tube running from Mount Shasta to the Mato Grosso jungle of Brazil. The Alpha Draconian Empire made "repeated attempts, by threat and manipulation, an occult takeover of the Agarthan kingdoms, to which some factions have unfortunately fallen."

The full underground diplomatic landscape simultaneously involves Terran military, Telosii, Aghartan groups, Grey collectives (Maytrei, Zeta, Kiily-Tokurt), and Reptilians (Draco reptilians and Nagai).

The Anshar broke from the "Muhammad Accords" — a treaty signed around 600 CE between inner-Earth groups and various extraterrestrials agreeing to limit open contact with surface humanity — in order to more directly assist humanity's current consciousness transition.

Corey Goode characterises the Anshar as the most spiritually advanced and positively oriented faction of the network, independent of both the Washington–Telos Alliance and the Reptilian-aligned groups, and as an active intermediary between the inner-Earth civilizations and the Sphere Being Alliance. He identifies them as the people of Kaaree, his principal inner-Earth contact, and links them to the Guardians' disclosure agenda for surface and subterranean humanity alike. Goode describes a meeting between the Anshar and a triangle-head being at a Kuiper Belt facility — presented as the most significant recorded contact between the network and the highest tier of the Sphere Being Alliance — at which the Guardians conveyed that the Anshar had "not been proper stewards of this planetary sphere," implying that inner-Earth and surface civilizations alike are held to the same accountability as Earth transitions to fifth density. Goode has stated that, of all the inner-Earth groups he encountered, the Anshar-led civilization was the largest and most influential: "there are many more... but they are the most influential of the inner Earth groups, the largest population wise, and the most influential."

A large-scale intervention by the Galactic Federation of Worlds, described by Danaan as the "Storm" cleansing operation allegedly begun in the second decade of the 21st century, has reportedly targeted Reptilian control of both surface and underground facilities as part of a broader liberation of Terra.

Tunnel infrastructure and classified access

The Aghartan tunnel network interfaces at its upper layers with classified human-built underground facilities. Emery Smith, who describes working in compartmentalized programs at Kirtland Air Force Base and Sandia National Laboratories from the early 1990s, provided testimony about a maglev-style transit system linking underground installations across the United States — from Sandia to Los Alamos and extending toward Washington D.C. — accessed through small unassuming surface structures concealing elevators descending thirty or more floors into vast underground complexes.

Smith described the tunnels as white-walled corridors with black onyx-type ceilings, moving on elevated magnetic tracks: "It's a hallway. It's white, and it has a black marble ceiling, like black onyx. I don't know what it is, if they can see through it, but it's very different." The most recent expansion of the network, he explained, uses nuclear vitrification technology — machines that melt rock into a molten state, creating sealed lava-tube-style passages: "They basically make lava tubes now, and that's what they're still doing all over, making an underground freeway to go anywhere you want in the world."

The facilities Smith described beneath Kirtland exceeded fifty floors in depth in the medical section alone, with pressurized operating rooms accessed through hexagonal vacuum-sealed doors, biometric screening at every corridor, and maglev transit running four networks by the time of his early-1990s service — subsequently upgraded to accommodate larger operations.

Reported 2023 military missions

JP, reporting classified operations to Dr. Michael Salla, provided detailed firsthand accounts of two 2023 missions that reached inhabited Agarthan communities. In October 2023, JP was transported with three other soldiers in civilian attire to a small camouflaged military structure — containing an old-style elevator descending sixteen floors over four minutes, leading to a modern underground office complex, before a second, more advanced elevator descended to the inner-Earth level itself.

The civilization encountered was inhabited by Nordic-appearing humans — tall, with long white hair, blue eyes, and elaborate jewelry — who communicated primarily by telepathy while also speaking calm, British-accented English: "I even heard in my head, I heard the guy talking to me, and I did not see his lips move." Their city featured buildings bearing Sumerian-style lettering and an atmospheric rose-citrus fragrance JP described as physically healing: "I will never forget the smell. The smell is like so beautiful, like a rose citrus smell. It was like bringing healing into my body by only smelling this beautiful spot."

The Nordics presented the mission team with metallic books describing their civilization's history — written in Sumerian-style script and documenting how the Ant People assisted their ancestors in establishing their subterranean community. They also provided samples of longevity medicine being shared with surface governments: "they know the code of living long periods of time. And they're sharing this with our government."

In a December 2023 follow-up mission, inner-Earth Nordics were found operating aboard the Atlantic Space Ark, where they were activating the vessel's biological vein-like energy systems. JP identified plant species growing inside the Ark as identical to those seen in the inner-Earth caves, confirming a direct biological connection between the Agarthan civilization and the Ark's builders. The Nordics proposed relocating the Ark to international waters to reduce geopolitical conflict, characterizing themselves as "the type of mediators, type of people. So they like to put everything in order and make sure that everything is done right."

Lemurian and Atlantean origins

Past-life regression accounts collected by Dr. Michael Salla from researcher Jen Sullivan and hypnotherapist Sarah Breskman Cosme provide what they characterize as narrative context for the cataclysms that drove the ancestors of today's inner-Earth peoples underground. Sullivan described Lemuria as a matriarchal maritime civilization with advanced red crystal technology and universal health, destroyed by Atlantean seismic weapons: "Underneath the ocean in certain rifts under the ocean in order to create these seismic tidal waves that just kind of obliterated Lemuria."

Breskman Cosme, drawing on sessions with multiple clients, identified both civilizations as seeded by extraterrestrials using vortex technology. The red crystals carried by the original seeding ships powered immunity systems and psychic technologies in both Lemuria and Atlantis — and the Atlanteans' theft of these crystals from the Lemurians was the proximate trigger of Lemuria's destruction: "the Atlanteans saw this and they wanted it. That's when the Lemurians wouldn't give the Atlanteans the red crystals. That's when they took and destroyed their whole civilization."

Atlantis itself was destroyed shortly after by an energetic mishap produced by its own increasingly reckless technology: "Boom goes Atlantis. It was an energetic mishap, but it happened for a reason." Lemurian survivors who escaped underground before the final inundation became the ancestors of the communities now known as the Telosii, preserving their civilization's knowledge beneath Mount Shasta and related locations within the Agarthan network.

The Coming Race and the Ana

Edward Bulwer-Lytton's 1871 novel The Coming Race presents a narrative closely paralleling the exopolitical and esoteric accounts of Agartha. Its narrator descends into a mine and discovers a civilization of the Ana — whose traditions record that their surface ancestors took refuge in underground caverns during a catastrophic flood many thousands of years before Noah, eventually "losing sight of the upper world forever."

The Ana's traditions further recorded that the inner Earth still contained ruins of even older human habitation: "In the bowels of the inner earth, even now, I was informed as a positive fact, might be discovered the remains of human habitation — habitation not in huts and caverns, but in vast cities whose ruins attest the civilisation of races which flourished before the age of Noah."

The Ana's most advanced sub-group, the Vril-ya, mastered a universal energy force called Vril — described as capable of healing, destruction, and powering an entire civilization — whose discovery ended their age of inter-community warfare and inaugurated an era of extraordinary scientific and ethical development: "by the gradual discovery of the latent powers stored in the all-permeating fluid which they denominate Vril... this fluid is capable of being raised and disciplined into the mightiest agency over all forms of matter, animate or inanimate."

Although classified as fiction, The Coming Race is widely understood in esoteric traditions as either thinly veiled disclosure or the product of Bulwer-Lytton's own occult contacts — he was a senior figure in Rosicrucian and other brotherhoods. The novel's influence on Vril Society formation in early 20th-century Germany made it a foundational text of Nazi occult interest in the subterranean world and in Vril energy as a recoverable technology.

Reported Ant People transition

In a 2024 mission reported by JP as classified, a return visit to a subterranean Ant People chamber in Florida found the Ant People themselves absent — replaced by human caretakers in robes — with only a small number of Ant People appearing briefly through the cave walls when JP meditated. The Ant People communicated telepathically that they had "moved farther in" to a different vibrational realm, handing their former territory to the human inhabitants: "We went farther in into the earth... we left this part for the humans." Salla interpreted the departure as a density-level ascension — the Ant People shifting to "a higher realm or another realm, a density realm where they simply appeared through the cave walls." The remaining Ant People elder stated their intention to share their civilization's knowledge with surface humanity more broadly: "soon we're going to share with the surface people."

Shambhala and the density hierarchy

Some accounts arrange the network as a density hierarchy, with Shambhala placed at its deepest and most evolved level — nearest the central interior — where the density of consciousness is said to approach the fourth or fifth density. The outer shells nearest the surface are described as housing less evolved or more compromised factions, including Grey and Reptilian tunnel networks; moving inward, one is said to encounter the Telosii settlements, then the Anshar, and finally the high-density civilization associated with Shambhala. Dr. Michael Salla and the sources he documents suggest this layered structure was understood by Central Asian lamas and encoded in the Tibetan Buddhist conception of Shambhala as a journey that is simultaneously inward and upward.

Mineral memory system

Randy Cramer distinguishes two structural zones beneath the primary Agarthan settlements. The first is the inhabited "honeycomb space" — the Agarthan network proper — containing the underground cities, transit tunnels, and inhabited caverns. Below it, he says, lies a second honeycomb layer, which he declines to describe in detail but identifies as the site of a mineral-based memory system: granite, gold, and crystalline structures that record environmental events and conversations across geological time, functioning in effect as a physical archive of planetary history accessible only to sufficiently advanced civilizations. Cramer warns that "what lives there is not likely to let you get through that without very specific permission," implying that the deeper layer has its own non-human guardians independent of the Agarthan civilizations above.

Snakeworld and Nazi contact

Elena Danaan documents a multi-level cavern system beneath the south-western slopes of the Himalayas, called "Snakeworld" by local populations, inhabited by the Nagai together with a serpent cult of human and reptilian collaborators — a group said to have made contact with the Nazi Thule Society during the Second World War. Some researchers connect this reported contact to the documented SS Ahnenerbe expeditions to Tibet between 1938 and 1943, interpreting them as attempts to reach inner-Earth factions rather than as purely anthropological research.[citation needed] In related accounts, the Dark Fleet's operations in Antarctica are linked to a further access route, with a Draco–Nazi alliance said to have reached subterranean tunnel systems beneath the continent that connect to the wider Agarthan network through deep crustal conduits.[citation needed]

In mainstream scholarship, Agartha is treated as a legendary kingdom — a literary and esoteric construct rather than a verifiable place. Mainstream historians of esotericism trace the term's coinage to French writer Louis Jacolliot's 1873 Les fils de Dieu, which described "Asgartha" as a vanished ancient Indian capital and is widely considered a fabrication by Jacolliot himself. French occultist Alexandre Saint-Yves d'Alveydre's Mission de l'Inde en Europe (1886) reframed the concept as an underground city ruled by a Sovereign Pontiff that had retreated below the surface around 3,200 years ago and would eventually share its knowledge with the world. Polish explorer Ferdynand Ossendowski's Beasts, Men and Gods (1922) popularised the legend outside occult circles, repeating much of Saint-Yves's framework — to the point that mainstream commentators have alleged plagiarism — while attributing the account to oral traditions encountered in Mongolia. French metaphysical writer René Guénon developed the theme further in Le Roi du Monde (1927), connecting Agartha to Rosicrucianism and to traditional doctrines of a hidden spiritual centre while remaining noncommittal on its historical reality.

Historian Joscelyn Godwin's Arktos: The Polar Myth (1993) treats Agartha within the broader history of polar and subterranean utopias and their reception in Western esoteric and political milieus. Nicholas Goodrick-Clarke's Black Sun (2002) places later Agartha discourse — including its connection to alleged Nazi mysticism — within the historiography of post-war Nazi occultism, and finds no documentary evidence of operational Nazi engagement with an underground Agartha as such. Historian of esotericism John Michael Greer characterises the Agartha legend as "one of the most remarkable products of occult history — a rich fabric of legend woven out of a mixture of Victorian anthropology, occult politics, and thin air." No credible archaeological, geological, or geophysical evidence supports the existence of large inhabited subterranean cities of the sort described by Saint-Yves, Ossendowski, or later contactee literature.
