Metatheoretical position that the UFO phenomenon has multiple simultaneous origins

The unified UAP-origin hypothesis, informally the "all of the above" hypothesis, is the metatheoretical position that the UFO / UAP phenomenon has no single origin but is produced concurrently by extraterrestrial beings, interdimensional beings, cryptoterrestrials, future humans, and possibly other agencies — "some combination or mutation of any or all of these," in Hal Puthoff's phrase. It rejects the premise — shared by the extraterrestrial hypothesis and its rivals alike — that the phenomenon must reduce to one kind of being or origin, treating the rival hypotheses as partial accounts of a single, heterogeneous reality.
