Reptilian elite
The reptilian elite is a composite hypothesis describing the uppermost tier of Earth's human power structure — the financial, political, and royal dynasties — as either Draco reptilians-hybrid bloodlines carrying significant reptilian genetics, full Draco reptilians or Nagai shapeshifters maintaining human disguise, or humans operating under soul contracts with Draco reptilians entities, managing Earth on their behalf in exchange for power, linked to loosh harvesting and adrenochrome supply chains. The hypothesis was developed systematically by David Icke beginning in the 1990s and has been substantially augmented by contactee accounts, particularly those of Elena Danaan.
Hybrid bloodlines
The central mechanism of control, per Icke's model, is genetic. A specific lineage of ruling families carries hybrid reptilian-human genetics, which confer both the ability to shapeshift (under certain energetic conditions, particularly during Satanic ritual) and psychic susceptibility to reptilian override. These bloodlines are maintained through extreme endogamy — the obsessive intermarriage of royal and aristocratic families — because the reptilian hybrid genetics dilute rapidly with outside mixing: "They're holding a particular genetic structure together, which is very quickly diluted if you interbreed with outside of it."
Icke describes these hybrid individuals as carrying a dual energetic field — a human field visible to most people, and an underlying non-human (frequently reptilian) field. Normally the human field is projected; during Satanic ritual, blood drinking, and extreme emotional states the non-human field becomes dominant and the shift to reptilian form becomes observable: "These hybrids have a human energy field. And they have a non human energy field, often reptilian... most of the time they are projecting the human field. So you look at them and you see a human." Witnesses have reported members of royal bloodlines shifting from human to reptilian appearance during rituals: "They're a hybrid bloodline. And they can move between human and reptilian, a reptilian state. And that's what I've been saying over the years."
Frequency-based infiltration model
David Icke argues that reptilian entities operating just outside the visible-light frequency range use human-reptilian hybrid bloodlines as "shells" — vehicles through which the entities directly control human civilization while appearing human to most observers. The secret society network exists specifically to identify, promote, and protect these vehicles: "the secret society network manipulates these bloodlines into power. And in doing so what it's actually doing is putting these entities just outside of visible light into power."
Icke identifies visual psychics — individuals whose perceptual range extends slightly beyond visible light — as uniquely able to observe non-human entities "overshadowing" politicians and royals, including the Bush family and the British Royal Family. He describes the people in such positions as behavioral outliers — lacking normal human empathy, and therefore capable of actions that most humans find psychologically impossible: "They have no empathy... these people in power are merely vehicles for something else."
Draco reptilians infiltration of the Illuminati
According to Elena Danaan,, drawing on A Gift from the Stars and subsequent contact transmissions, places the reptilian elite within a specific institutional framework: "To have that power, a Reptilian must be first accepted in an elite group that infiltrates and has co-founded the Illuminati." The Draco reptilians also create hybrid offspring through mass abduction of human females and implantation programs, with these hybrids then "sent away to other colonized planets or, otherwise, these offsprings become powerful members infiltrated in the main leading societies."
Adrenochrome supply chain as structural motivation
The maintenance of the reptilian elite's Earthly power structure is described as functionally tied to the adrenochrome supply. The elite's Satanic ritual practices generate the adrenochrome-saturated blood the Draco reptilians require, creating a symbiotic arrangement: the Draco reptilians provide power, protection, and technology; the human elite provides access to victims and management of the broader population to suppress awareness of the arrangement. Icke identifies the terror rituals as explicitly an offering: "The reason they're doing these rituals is feeding off this very powerful energy of terror — this is the gift to the gods."
Ancient textual parallels
Icke identifies the Hebrew word for the serpent in the Garden of Eden as a Nagai-type figure: "The Hebrew name for the snake in the Garden of Eden, if you like, actually means a two-legged, standing upright humanoid reptilian." Chinese imperial dynasties claimed descent from serpent gods; Vedic accounts describe the Nagas as shapeshifting between human and reptilian form. Across all these traditions, Icke identifies the same pattern: "these royal families... all over the world, given the right to rule, and justified their right to rule, because they had the genetics of the gods, this hybrid genetics."
Icke also specifically names Credo Mutwa's Zulu tradition as corroborating this: Mutwa describes the Chitahuri — "the children of the serpent, the children of the python" — as beings that the colonial powers specifically targeted to suppress knowledge of, driving Zulu shamanic traditions underground to preserve this history.
Draconian genetic supremacy
Stewart Swerdlow, a survivor of the Montauk Project, explains the Draconian genetic superiority belief as rooted in two biological facts: Reptilians are androgynous (male and female in one body), which they equate with the non-gendered nature of the "God mind"; and reptilian genetics change very little across millions of years while mammalian genetics constantly adapt and evolve — a stability the Draconians interpret as evidence of superiority: "Reptilian genetics over millions and millions of years does not change very much. It stays rather constant, whereas mammalian genetics constantly adapt and evolve and change. And so to the Reptilian mindset, that means that they are superior."
Swerdlow distinguishes between two ancient reptilian factions: the Anak — reptilian-like but not the Draco — who created slave races and were at war with the Draconians, documented in the ancient Indian Vedas; and the Draco, who founded the Illuminati as humanity knows it today.
Named individuals
Across Icke's body of work and the Fact Hunter broadcast, specific individuals are named as either probable reptilian hybrids or deeply connected to the reptilian bloodline network, including the British Royal Family, particularly Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Charles; the Bush family (George H. W. Bush and George W. Bush); Hillary Clinton (noted for "cold steely eyes" that "never smile" despite a large public smile); Tony Blair; and Silvio Berlusconi, cited as exemplifying the pathological lack of empathy that characterises these figures.
Icke recounts an early personal encounter with former British Prime Minister Ted Heath (1970–1974), in which Heath's eyes went "completely black" while silently scanning Icke in a television makeup room — Heath later identified as a known Satanist and child abuser. Stewart Swerdlow independently stated, from his own observation and that of palace employees, that Queen Elizabeth II was "known to shapeshift."
