UFO occupant

“UFO occupants” is a term for the beings reported aboard or operating UFOs. Daniel Sheehan and others have said that “the UFOs occupants” are beings from various other civilizations — both extraterrestrial and interdimensional in character. The phrase is a near-synonym for non-human intelligent beings, extraterrestrial beings, and interdimensional beings.

At the broadest level, reported UFO occupants are generally sorted into a small number of categories mirroring the Greer-style two-level division of non-human intelligent beings. Occupants are generally considered to be extraterrestrial beings, interdimensional beings (including time-traveling future humans and other beings of the same interdimensional kind), ultraterrestrials, or human breakaway and black-ops crews. These map respectively onto the extraterrestrial hypothesis, the interdimensional hypothesis (of which the extratempestrial hypothesis is a subset), the ultraterrestrial hypothesis, and the proposition that some craft are piloted by ordinary terrestrial humans operating from concealed programs.

The classification is treated as a first approximation rather than a clean partition, and several nuances are reported to blur it:

Extraterrestrial beings are allegedly often themselves interdimensionally or extradimensionally capable, possessing psychic or ESP faculties, such that the extraterrestrial and interdimensional categories overlap in a single being.
Most reported non-human intelligent being phenotypes are likewise said to display such faculties, so the interdimensional aspect is reportedly closer to a general property than a separate branch.
Sometimes the craft itself is reportedly a living being, or is described as one with, an extension of, or psychically controlled by its occupant, collapsing the distinction between vehicle and pilot.
Occupants reportedly include social memory complexes — multiple beings merged into a single consciousness — and plasma beings that lack a conventional solid body altogether.
